Big Easy Milk Punch

Name: Big Easy Milk Punch
Ingredients:
one 750-ml. bottle (25.4 ounces) bourbon,


brandy, or other liquor
3 cups (24 ounces) cold whole milk
2 cups (16 ounces) cold half-and-half
1 cup superfine sugar
2 tablespoons (1 ounce) pure vanilla extract
Freshly grated nutmeg
Makes twelve 5.5-ounce servings

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except garnish in a pitcher that holds at least 80 ounces; stir
well to dissolve sugar. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Serve in 6-ounce oldfashioned
glasses, with or without ice cubes. Garnish by lightly sprinkling nutmeg on
each serving.

Garnish:
Freshly grated nutmeg

Glass:
Pitcher






Variation:
LATTE MILK PUNCH:
Dissolve 3 tablespoons instant espresso powder
(or ¼ cup regular instant coffee) in 2 tablespoons very hot water.
Add to remaining ingredients before chilling.
Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder or cocoa mix.
